In Subnautica: Below Zero, there are two types of Raw Materials: Minerals/Ores and Biological. They have a variety of uses so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on where materials are found and regularly top up to make sure you always have a stack of materials to use. The first few resources we’ll highlight are locations of important Minerals and Ores on the Subnautica Map. The recipe is one Battery and one Titanium chunk. A Scanner - A Scanner allows you to synthesize blueprints and research flora, fauna and machinery fragments.
Collect these outside the Drop Pod to make Copper Wiring and other basic materials you will need later.
